Catalogue raisonné of works on paper by Nay

The Ernst Wilhelm Nay Foundation, Cologne, is preparing the extensive catalogue raisonné of E. W. Nay's works on paper - watercolours, gouaches and drawings. Supported by the widow of the artist, it is being edited by Dr. Magdalene Claesges.

In addition to the catalogue raisonné of Nay's printed artwork (Karlheinz Gabler, Stuttgart 1975) and the catalogue raisonné of Nay's paintings (Aurel Scheibler, Köln 1990) it will supply a complete survey on Nay's work. For art dealers, research work in art history and interested art friends it will facilitate the comprehension of and the access to E.W. Nay's work. Moreover it will help to distinguish his work from fraudulent falsification.

Since numerous works on paper have not yet been registered, all owners of works on paper by E.W. Nay - watercolours, gouaches and drawings (graphic prints excluded) - are asked to contact the foundation.
